KEY OBJECTIVES

The main goal of the mission was to tidy up customer accounts while selling XX assets to the YY Group in order to shut down the customer accounting department.

In order to accomplish this project and meet the set target, all the various teams were integrated and mobilized.

MISSION

  • Full-time consultant within the customer office during 6 months

  • Spearheaded the team responsible for the closure of the accounts receivable department

  • Performed end-of-month duties using SAP to create: provisions for credit notes, customers, business partners & doubtful customers; Framing of Revenues; Sales Flash; Trade Debtor & Write-offs.

  • Resolved disputes with the global sales teams (Europe, US, CA, UAE, Hong Kong, China, Japan).

  • Reconciled XX & YY Group’s P&L to expose gaps generated by billing code.

  • Created and maintained Outstanding Balance reports under the PDCA method (Plan / Do / Check / Act)

Step 2 : Set-up of instances

  • Defining the instances per typology (Every week, 4 weeks meeting)

  • Leading advisory committees with internal Directors to take the best decision on the overdue

Step 3 : Open actions

  • Chasing the actors to solve all open points until they get closed

Step 4 : Provision, Revenue Follow-up

  • Perform end-of-month to create provisions into SAP, Frame of revenues & Write-offs

  • Communication during all project phasis (Key Achievements, Next steps & Results)

  • Embedded all the different teams to achieve this project and meet the target

  • Share daily results with the Shared Service Center located in Switzerland
